Daniel H. Moore Thanks for the lead on the jeep on board air install, I have read most all the project/build info out there. what i would really like to know is the following.

The FS-10 is a 2 stroke, reed induction, 7 piston, 155 cc unit. Would the following formula be used? (CFM = CID x RPM x VE ÷ 3456). (CFM =9.5 x 1000 x 1 ÷ 3456) when (C.I.D. = CC ÷ 16.39) & (VE = (CFM X 3456) ÷ (CID X RPM)). Calculated at the standard atmospheric pressure of 14.7 psi.

Does the 3456 factor apply? That is for a 4 stroke engine. Would 1728 be an appropriate number for the FS-10 two stroke, reed valve design?.

Would the compressor discharge be 200-250 psi, just because ac refrigerant head pressures are that high? That can only be assuming the inlet side of the compressor is about 35 psi. (standard ac low side psi) Discharge seems to be about 6-7 times greater pressure on the high side. Standard atmospheric inlet side should be the previously mentioned 14.7 psi.

What lubricant would best mimic that in the closed loop freon system? air tool oil, automatic transmision fluid or something other?

I have heard the york 210 displaces 10 ci. and is rated for 4 cfm @ 1200, is this reasonably accurate?
