help. i have a 1997 honda civic DX ( non v-tec). i removed the compressor after hearing a bad bearing noise, found out that the clutch bearing was destroyed, so i installed a new clutch kit, belt, freon, oil, etc. after getting in 200.00 deep and re-installing averything, i find out that the compressors internal bearings are shot also( maybe). the reason i say this is because i installed a whole new clutch kit, and with the car running and the a/c OFF, there is no bearing noises, but once the a/c is on and the clutch is engaged, you can then hear the bearing noise.

is it possible that driving the car with the old clutch bearing going bad mad the compressors internal bearings go bad from the vibration?

i really dont have a lot of money left at this point. im in it about 200.00 and a new compressor would have been 300.00.

what are my options?
